Message to My Patients
This message is addressed to any patient who was in my care at UCHealth Parkview Behavioral Health Services (Parkview BH Clinic) located at 56 Club Manor Drive, Suite 100, Pueblo CO, 81008.
The Professional Services Agreement between me and Poudre Valley Medical Group, LLC, d/b/a UCHealth Medical Group, was abruptly terminated on 29 January, 2026. This action came on the heels of a meeting of all BH Clinic staff with Parkview Medical Group executives on 22 January, 2026. In that meeting, I voiced concerns about patient care quality and organizational leadership versus executive priorities of higher profits. I offered several solutions to balance these competing objectives based on my experiences in the US Army, medical director of a civilian psychiatric ward and the owner/President of AT Psychiatry, PLLC.
Regrettably, Parkview Medical Group executives in terminating my over 10-years of high quality patient care at the Parkview BH Clinic, provided no plans or support for your ongoing treatment.
It is my firm belief that physicians are more than just cogs in a private hospital's machinery. They are dutybound to their patients. Just as Soldiers live by the Army Values, physicians live by the pillars of medical ethics:

Beneficence: The duty to act in the best interest of the patient.

Nonmaleficence: The foundational obligation to "do no harm".

Autonomy: Respecting the patient's right to make their own healthcare decisions.

Justice: The commitment to treating all individuals fairly and equitably.
I WILL HONOR MY DUTY to every one of you at the Parkview BH Clinic by on-boarding you to my psychiatric practice at AT Psychiatry, PLLC, per your request. Naturally, you have alternatives such as seeing other providers at the Parkview BH Clinic.
At the present time (31 Jan 2026), I am able to accept several insurance plans at AT Psychiatry, PLLC. These plans are billed through a third party called Headway. You may check through my Terhakopian Headway Page to determine if your health insurance policy is accepted at AT Psychiatry, PLLC. If your insurance plans is accepted through Headway, you may also book an appointment with me through Headway.

The staff at AT Psychiatry, PLLC, and I are working to address the continuity of care for those who have Tricare, Medicare and Colorado Medicaid. After communicating with providers at the Parkview BH Clinic, I have learned that they will do their utmost to prevent disruptions in your care by providing refills for the next 30 days.
